--BULGARIAN HIGHWAY MAFIA Highway mafia stopped a jeep carrying Turkish Akin Aksoy and his family near Sofia. Two people dressed as policemen and wearing snow masks handcuffed the family, took them to a mountain, stole 4,000 euros, a gold necklace and three mobile phones that belonged to them and then ran away. Thanks to her left hand, which was not handcuffed due to an injury, Aksoy's daughter Hande called the police and the family was rescued two hours later. The Aksoys arrived in the northwestern province of Edirne by bus as their jeep was burnt down.
